One of two dream collabs I was able to work on! I have loved Hocus Pocus since I was a kid and when I was asked to tackle this very large release I jumped at the chance. This is a pretty large new collection as far as collab launches go in the ColourPop world and we found it a bit difficult to make the group shots look large and impressive enough in the paid ads. After showing the marketing team what we were working with they agreed we could use product specific paid ads to focus on the packaging design as well as the new and exciting shades. The green smoke effect was my idea and it went over very well with internal and external teams but was a pain to animate. It was totally worth it in the end and I think the assets came out great. This collection sold very well, even I bought it.
